The upcoming launch of Shibarium has increased the frequency of meme coin price changes. Earlier on Tuesday, a tweet from Bone ShibaSwap’s official Twitter account caught the attention of the SHIB community. The Twitter account Bone Shiba Swap announced that the beta version of Shibarium will hit the market next week. He emphasized that more than one million Shiba investors can get BONE for very little transaction fees and will burn SHIB on every transfer. He also said that BONE will be needed for everything in the SHIB ecosystem.
Following this tweet, the token skyrocketed as BONE’s volumes jumped over 45 percent in the last day. Bone ShibaSwap was holding the 100th spot on CoinMarketCap with a live market capitalization of $429,542,538. The current price of the BONE token has increased from $1.66 to $1.90, up nearly 13.24 percent in the last 24 hours.

The exact launch date of Shibarium is still unknown. Still, Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytohsi Kusama, recently hinted this week that the highly anticipated layer 2 protocol will be released soon. The Shiba Inu Community is actively campaigning to include BONE on major exchanges like Binance. A Change.org campaign created to get Binance to list BONE on its platform gathered 1,962 signatures. At the same time, Seychelles-based Huobi Global is making arrangements to list BONE. Huobi Global is testing the BONE trading page, which indicates that Shiba Inu’s governance token may soon be listed on the platform.
