Strike partners with Bitnob to facilitate cross-border payments to Africa
Strike CEO Jack Mallers has announced plans to improve remittance payments to Africa thanks to the Lightning Network on Bitcoin. Speaking at a conference in Ghana, Mallers announced that the Bitcoin payment company has partnered with mobile app Bitnob to facilitate payments to Africa.
Currently, money transfers to Africa use the Lightning Network, a layer 2 payment network built on Bitcoin. Called “Send Globally”, this feature enables instant, low-cost payments to Africa.
After the announcement, the Strike (STRK) price rose in double digits in a short time. The price is currently trading around $11.44. It peaked at $12.78 during the rally.
VeChain represents the altcoin market in the tennis world
VeChain (VET) has entered into a multi-year partnership with the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) to develop sustainability initiatives and increase brand awareness in Europe. The collaboration follows the previous partnership that saw VeChain debut as partner of the Nitto ATP Finals last month. The altcoin project unveiled the exciting development during the week of the Nitto ATP Finals, held from November 13-20. VeChain’s name and logo appeared on billboards throughout the competitions.
Warner Music and Polygon partnership
Ethereum scaling solution Polygon has added yet another high-profile partnership in 2022. Warner Music continues its Web3 partnership series by teaming up with a new Polygon-based music and collections platform. Artists will now stream music NFTs through the Polygon-based marketplace LGND Music. LGND Music, which will launch in January, is a platform where artists can market their works digitally. The aim of the partnership is basically to build a music platform for the artists for the listeners.

OKCoin Japan hints at an altcoin listing
The Japanese branch of OK Group is hinting that it will list the SHIB token. Japan’s leading cryptocurrency exchange reported that it has recently started preparations. He also admitted that he had received a persistent petition from an SHIB advocate. For 148 days, the person in question had expressed the desire of the broader SHIB community to have SHIB listed on the exchange. The exchange is now making listing plans with this demand in mind.
