For those who don’t know, previous reports were that the smartphone will have 50 MP primary, 50 MP ultra-wide and 64 MP telephoto sensors. Today, the details of these sensors were shared. Accordingly, OnePlus 12 will receive support from a 1/2-inch f/2.2 48MP ultra-wide, 64MP OmniVision OV64B telephoto with OIS and a 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX 966 image sensor on the back.
As for other features of the smartphone, it is stated that there will be a Samsung E4 OLED panel on the front that offers 2K resolution and 144Hz refresh rate. This panel, which appears in a curved structure, will be accompanied by up to 24GB LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. Additionally, the smartphone is expected to come out of the box with Android 14.
Qualcomm’s new flagship platform, Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, will sit in the processor seat of OnePlus 12. According to current reports, it is stated that the processor will offer significant improvements in both performance and efficiency. Of course, the determining factor in this will be the fabrication process. Because recent reports point to TSMC’s 3nm production node.
