Lu Weibing, the head of the company, announced the brand’s first artificial intelligence laptop at the Xiaomi 15 Ultra event. This device, which has not yet been announced, will have a large battery with a capacity of 99WH and is designed in accordance with the rules of airline transport.
Before this announcement, Xiaomi Communication Technologies Product Marketing Director Ma Zhiyu excited technology enthusiasts by sharing the box of a new Redmi laptop. The device is estimated to be Redmi Book Pro 2025 and is expected to get its power from the Intel Core Ultra 5 processor. However, which model number to be used remains unclear for now.
Redmi Book Pro 2025, Xiaomi Hyperos Smart Connect technology will offer a perfect integration with the ecosystem of the brand. In this way, an uninterrupted connection can be established with smartphones, tablets and smart home devices. The laptop will include Xiao AI assistant and Xiaomi PC Manager software. Thus, the user experience is expected to be shaped by an artificial intelligence -supported productivity approach.
On the performance side, the device comes with details that will attract the attention of game enthusiasts. According to Ma Zhiyu’s tests, the eagerly anticipated Black Myth: Wukong game runs a very fluent performance with an average of 67 FPS. The device, which can reach a maximum of 75 FPS, does not fall below 59 FPS even at the lowest level. This shows that it is equipped with a strong cooling system and an ambitious GPU.
Although Xiaomi’s laptop strategy draws an irregular graph from time to time compared to its competitors, the company is trying to get a solid position in this field by investing in the Redmi brand. Ma Zhiyu said that under the Xiaomi brand, new laptops will be released, but this will not happen soon.
