Barley Network released on Ethereum network
Decentralized computing protocol Arpa Network was launched on the Ethereum network on Wednesday, after two months of testnet operations. The launch allows Ethereum developers to use Barley to build and deploy decentralized applications (dapps) such as lottery, gaming, decentralized voting systems, and identity management systems, among other uses.
On June 22, Barley Network will start minting the remaining 500 million Barley (ARPA) tokens set aside for staking rewards. These tokens will also act as a reserve to finance the growth of the Barley ecosystem. Tokens will be released gradually in the coming months. A gradual authorization process will be provided for shareholders, node operators and other ecosystem participants.
Tether issues USDT on Kava
Stablecoin company Tether has started issuing USDT on Kava to increase liquidity across multiple Blockchains. The KAVA price gained around 10% after the announcement.
Justin Sun transfers $10 million
In another whale transaction, Justin Sun’s address transferred $10 million in stablecoins from BNB Chain to Huobi. According to Ember’s report, Sun has withdrawn 5.07 million BUSD and 170,000 TUSD, 70,000 USDT from BNB Chain. He later transferred some of it to Huobi. Giant whale bought 3596 stETH
A giant whale address converted all its stablecoins to stETH today, after 215 days, according to on-chain reports. Whale traded approximately $6.52 million worth of USDT and USDC for 3596 stETH.
Meanwhile, the same whale had first purchased ETH and USDT from AscendEX in April 2021. Whale has not yet traded any tokens other than stETH.
Crypto whale extracts 1140 WBTC and 15,000 ETH from Aave and Compound
The giant whale address, which started with 0xd275, has pulled out 1,140 WBTC (about $32.8 million) and 15,000 ETH (about $25.88 million) from Aave and Compound, according to Lookonchain data. He sent them to Bitfinex, Binance, Kraken, and Coinbase, respectively. Sending its funds to the centralized exchange raises selling pressure concerns.
Terra Luna Classic revises Q3 core development proposal
The Q3 development package proposed by the L1TF developer group, which proposes to improve LUNC and USTC supply reduction, is being revised.
