Italian automobile giant Pininfarina, which took the stage as part of the Monterey Automobile Week events held in the USA, introduced the “B95”, which will be recorded as one of the most special cars in the world. Launched as the world’s first electric hyper barchetta car, the B95 will be produced in limited numbers and those who want to buy it will have to pour a fortune.
In the automotive world, “barchetta” is considered to be a slightly smaller, uncloaked version of convertible cars. So the Pininfarina B95 is a fully open, 2-seater car. The car, which does not even have a windshield, seems to provide an interesting experience to its driver.
Introducing the Pininfarina B95!
Pininfarina B95, which has thin strip LED lights on the front and rear, has an open grille structure, although it is not needed. Equipped with muscular and curved lines in general, the hypercar hosts a one-piece front hood that also includes the fenders. The car, which has protrusions that cover the back of the driver and passenger, looks quite different and unique from the supercar designs we have seen recently.
When we look at the interior of the world’s first electric hyper barchetta car, we encounter a very impressive cabin. So much so that the three digital displays surrounding the driver stand out directly in this vehicle. The driver can control his speed on the small screen directly opposite, information about the vehicle on the screen on the left side, and navigation and multimedia controls on the screen placed towards the center console. According to the company’s statement, consumers who purchase Pininfarina B95s, which will be produced only in 10 units, will have “unlimited” customization opportunities in interior and exterior design.
The Pininfarina B95 is a hypercar. In other words, it is suitable for the tracks rather than daily use and is extremely fast. So how did the company achieve this with electric motors? According to Pininfarina’s statement, there are four electric motors in the B95. These engines with the same features can produce a total of 1,877 horsepower and 2,360 Nm of torque. With a maximum speed of 300 km/h, the 0-100 km/h acceleration time of the car is under 2 seconds.
According to the authorities, who explain that the battery that provides energy to the ultra-powerful electric motors has a capacity of 120 kWh, if you charge this car for 25 minutes, you will fill the battery from 20 percent to 80 percent. The company supports the battery, which will heat up due to high performance, with a special liquid cooling system.
According to the statement made by Pininfarina, payments starting from 4.8 million dollars will be required for the special hypercar, which will be produced only 10 units. There is no upper limit that we can share with you for the price of this car, because as we have just mentioned; Consumers who purchase the B95 will be able to make individual customizations on every detail of the car. These customizations will also directly affect the price.
