Microsoft has banned the word Disney from its search tool Bing Image Creator. The reason for the ban was explained as unexpected images occurring similar to Pixar and Disney movie posters, which could cause copyright problems.
When asked for terms like “Disney movie poster,” the Bing Image Creator tool produced images containing Disney’s font, colors, and designs. The search tool raised copyright issues by placing the Disney logo on images.
Reports have surfaced that Disney has informed Microsoft about potential copyright issues. Then Microsoft banned the use of the term “Disney” in the vehicle. It also showed users warnings that the word was against their policies.
