As we know, Apple introduced iOS 17, iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma, watchOS 10 and tvOS 17 software at WWDC this week. These newly introduced software bring great innovations to the users. One of these innovations was TipKit, which was introduced at the conference. TipKit will make you realize hidden features in apps and provide some tips. So how will it work?
How will TipKit that comes with iOS 17 work?
The new feature will work not only in iOS 17 apps, but also in iPadOS 17, macOS Sonoma, watchOS 10 and tvOS 17 apps, revealing new features and showing a faster way to accomplish a task. These tips will appear on a button or other interactive element in apps and provide information to users about various features.
Apple seems to have come up with a native solution with a consistent design, although apps can offer their own tips and helpful information. Sometimes you will be able to find hidden features and tips that you have to search on the internet in iOS 17’s own interface. Apple has a WWDC session for developers with more information on TipKit, but there’s no more documentation on that yet.
iOS 17 and other software are expected to be available to everyone in September as usual. But right now, you can try features like TipKit yourself in the beta program. Still, it’s worth saying, the betas that are opened now are beta versions for developers and it is not recommended for daily users to install.
How to install iOS 17 Beta?
To install iOS 17 Developer Beta, follow these steps:
- On your iPhone or iPad running iOS 16.4 and above, open the Settings app.
- Tap on General>Software Update.
- Tap on Beta Updates under Auto Update.
- Choose Developer Beta
- When you come back, you will see the iOS 17 Developer Beta version during the scan and will be available after a 6.04 GB installation.
