When Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order was first released, it filled a major gap in the gaming world. Because many Star Wars fans were looking for a story-oriented game, and for solid productions, these people had to look at old games. Even though the game was released with a few problems and shortcomings, it satisfied this hunger.
The second game that followed, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, made things even better. We were faced with new mechanics, new characters, locations and a freer but not boring open world. The story was also connected quite nicely. After that, we waited and finally, the sign we were waiting for came.
Cameron Monaghan, who plays the main character of both plays, announced that he is working on the third play.
Monaghan, who plays our main character Cal Kestis, took part in the Ocala Comic Con 2023 event. Monaghan, who presented the panel here with Tina Ivlev, who plays Merrin we know from the play, and answered questions; He said that they are working on the third game and that it is still in the early stages.
Judging by what Monaghan said, the development process of the game has not started yet. From what the actor said, it seems that they are still in the process of putting the game together. The sales figures of the previous games, the fact that those who were far from both the Star Wars series and the Souls genre turned to the game, and the positive feedback from fans pointed to the future of the third game.
Another piece of information we have is that a new director must be found for the play. Because it was confirmed that Stig Asmussen, whom we saw in previous games, would leave EA and Respawn.
If you don’t remember what the second game is like, you can check out our review above, which we wrote by trying the game first hand.
