Skoda is preparing to introduce the fourth generation Superb in November. Wanting to be assertive in the D segment as in its previous generation, the new Superb aims to reach significant sales figures with its updated design, growing dimensions and advanced technologies.
The new Skoda Superb will be unveiled in November
The new Superb will be offered with three petrol, two diesel and one plug-in hybrid engine options with powers ranging from 150 to 265 horsepower. In the Superb model, which will be equipped with a mild hybrid engine for the first time, the plug-in hybrid version will provide a zero-emission range of over 100 kilometers.
Equipped with the new engine range, all models will be offered with DSG automatic transmission. At the same time, one of the important changes in the new generation will be the transfer of the gear lever to the steering column. In this way, more comfort and storage space can be obtained by freeing up space in the center console area.
In addition, rational solutions, which are the signature of the brand, have been increased even more in the new Superb model, reaching 28 units. These include features such as a tablet holder integrated into the rear center armrest, double storage areas on the front seat backs that allow you to securely place items such as smartphones and magazines during the journey, and an electrically controllable luggage cover in the Combi version.
Superb will also say hello to the updated design language of the brand in its new generation. The new Superb, which will be offered in Sedan and Combi versions, wants to draw attention with its more aggressive lighting group design at the front and rear.
While the interior design of the new Superb is being renewed, the manual controls that provide ease of use and the more harmonious operation of the touch screen digital controls are among the most important parts of the brand. We can say that the new infotainment system, which can be preferred up to 12.9 inches, has been made to meet today’s conditions.
The new Superb, whose wheelbase is preserved, is longer and higher than the previous generation. In this way, the headroom for all passengers has increased, and the luggage volume has reached 645 liters for the sedan and 690 liters for the Combi.
