Honor brand announced that it will introduce Magic 4 series smartphones at the 2022 Mobile World Congress (MWC) to be held on February 28. Just days before the launch, the basic features of the standard, Pro and Pro+ versions were leaked to the internet.
According to information reported by sources close to the company, Honor Magic 4 will be based on the MediaTek Dimensity 9000 chipset. On the other hand, it is reported that Honor Magic 4 Pro and Magic 4 Pro + models will come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor.
While the standard version has a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, we will see 6.67-inch AMOLED with a resolution of 2772 x 1344 pixels in the Pro model. The Pro+ variant will come with a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 3200 x 1440 pixels. Let’s add that the entire series will offer a 120 Hz refresh rate.
Battery and camera specifications
It is stated that the batteries will have the same capacity. Smartphones will include a 4,800 mAh battery. Magic 4 and Magic 4 Pro will debut with 66W fast charging support. Pro + will have 100W fast charging support. In addition, the two Pro models will feature 50W fast wireless charging.
Honor Magic 4 will have a triple camera system consisting of 50 + 50 + 16 megapixel sensors on the back panel. On the front, there will be a 16-megapixel selfie camera. The Magic 4 Pro and Magic 4 Pro+ versions will have a 50 + 50 + 50 + 50 megapixel quad rear camera and a 13 megapixel + 3D depth sensor dual front camera.
