OPPO, one of the successful players in the smartphone industry, continues its efforts to expand its product portfolio. In this direction, the company, which entered the foldable phone market with the Find N model in the past months, is preparing to enter the tablet industry with the OPPO Pad in the future. In fact, the technical features of the device are slowly starting to become clear.
OPPO Pad got 3C certification
OPPO Pad, which has been on the agenda with various claims and leaks for a long time, has recently taken its place in the 3C database. Thus, some of the battery features of the tablet became clear. According to the 3C database, the tablet will be powered by an 8,080 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
OPPO Pad will be presented to users with an 11-inch 2560 x 1600 resolution LCD panel that offers 120 Hz refresh rates. At the same time, Gorilla Glass Victus technology is expected to be used on the screen.
The tablet will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor. Produced with a 7 nm fabrication process, the chipset hosts the Adreno 650 graphics chip in addition to four 2.42 GHz ARM Cortex-A77 and four 1.8 GHz ARM Cortex-A55 cores.
The device, which is expected to come with 6 GB of LPDDR4x RAM on the memory side, will contain 256 GB of internal storage. At this point, it is not yet clear whether there will be different options in terms of storage and RAM.
Pen support, which is one of the indispensables of the tablet market, will also be offered to users in the OPPO Pad model. On the other hand, it will run the Android 12-based ColorOS 12 interface as soon as it comes out of the box. It should be noted that advanced technologies such as Bluetooth 5. 1, Wi-Fi 6 are also available.
There are no clear details about when the tablet will be introduced. However, considering the factors such as the 3C certification of the device and the increase in leaks, significant developments are expected in the first quarter of this year.
