The smartphone market is in trouble
According to the analysis, the smartphone market fell by around 9 percent in the third quarter of the year, and the biggest decline rate since 2014 was seen. While the sales figures were around 300 million, Apple achieved the biggest gain.
Apple’s market share increased from 15 percent to 18 percent during this period. Samsung, on the other hand, increased by 1 point to 22 percent. While Xiaomi has not changed, it seems that Chinese players such as Oppo and Vivo have lost a share.
With the effect of the holiday period, it is estimated that the demand for smartphones will increase slightly at the end of the year and at the beginning of next year. Especially iPhone 14 sales are expected to intensify in this period.
