The site that pulls out everything you haven’t heard of: TAPEFEAR
Do you want to show off your originality by saying “I found a group, it has 238 monthly listeners” in your circle of friends? When Spotify listens to Metallica as if you didn’t know it, Megadeth, Dr. Are you tired of 50 Cent when you listen to Dre, and Sezen Aksu when you listen to Sertap Erener? Yes, if you do not enter specific lists prepared by Spotify itself or created by users, it may take longer to find songs that you have never heard of and that you will love.
A site called TAPEFEAR eliminates this problem with its algorithm that pulls out for you what is on the sidelines, not what is popular. When you first enter the site, you will see genre options. From here, you select the genre you want from fun to metal, jazz to reggae and press the ‘rediscover’ button. Here is a song that you probably haven’t heard. With the ‘Random preview’ button, you can listen to a section of the song and save it to your favorites. From the site, where you can see the previously recommended songs in the ‘discoveries’ section, you can also get a direct redirect to the Spotify page of the recommended song.
