You’ve heard at least one of the dozens of conspiracy theories about the hidden symbols in Hollywood movies. The list goes on and on, such as mysterious signs, symbols of various groups, or symbols that convey secret messages, which constitute the main thesis of these conspiracy theories.
Although it is fun to talk about the frivolous ideas of the conspirators, this is not the subject of our article; we will only focus on the stories of the logos of the movie studios or the details that can only be noticed with a close look. Here are the hidden spots in the logos of the studios!
1- DreamWorks Pictures
DreamWorks Pictures commissioned Robert Hunt to design the logo for a man sitting on the Moon. Hunt fulfilled this task, but also made a second drawing modeled after his own son. At the end of the day, the second drawing was liked more by DreamWorks and his son was featured in this logo.
2- Columbia Pictures
Columbia Pictures’ logo was never designed based on the image of a single woman. In fact, the logo is arranged as a combination of images of many women. Columbia Pictures combined images from the 1924 model to 1992. The latest model is Jennie Joseph, an American housewife you see on the right.
3- Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer
The idea for MGM’s logo was introduced by Howard Dietz. University sports teams were inspired by “The Lions”. There are 5 different lions in MGM alone; their names are Slats, Jackie, Tanner, George, and Leo.
4- Paramount Pictures
Paramount Pictures’ logo is inspired by Mount Lomond in Utah, the hometown of artist William Hodkinson. There are 24 stars in the original version. This symbolizes the star players who signed contracts with them at that time. Now there are 22 and no one knows why.
