As the number of automobiles in traffic increases day by day, the safety of vehicles has started to gain more importance. That’s why car companies aim to make their vehicles safer with each new generation. Independent organizations such as Euro NCAP test how safe the vehicles are.
Euro NCAP shared the safest vehicles by class
Euro NCAP publishes a list of the best performing cars in their categories each year. The vehicles, which are evaluated according to the same standards every year, are determined as the safest cars in their class.
Euro NCAP considers the scores in four different areas it has determined to rank the vehicles it has tested. The safest car models are determined by making a comparison according to the scores of the vehicles in the areas determined as Adult Passenger, Child Passenger, Pedestrian and Safety Assistance.
It is also worth noting that the vehicles that entered the test had only standard safety equipment. Tests based on optional equipment are not included in this comparison. The most successful cars in these tests win the title of ‘Best in Class’.
In the latest list published by Euro NCAP, it has determined the best car in each category by dividing the vehicles into different classes. For this, the independent safety testing organization highlights the Executive, Large Family, Large SUV, Small Family, Small SUV and Electric categories.
