According to the statement made in the past hours, Ubisoft’s pirate-themed game Skull and Bones, which has been developed for years and has encountered many problems, will be released on November 8. Skull and Bones; It will be available on November 8, 2022, in two versions, Standard and Premium, on the Epic Games Store and Ubisoft Store for PS5, Xbox Series X|S and Windows PC, as well as Stadia and Amazon Luna. Premium Edition; “The Ballad of Bloody Bones Collection”, which includes a range of cosmetic items for both the captain and the ships, will include additional digital content including two additional missions, a digital artbook and soundtrack, as well as a “Smuggler Card” token.
Developed by Ubisoft Singapore in collaboration with other Ubisoft studios*, Skull and BonesTM invites players to forge their own destiny and journey from an exile to becoming a famous pirate ringleader. To do this, players will need to build their Infamy through exciting sea battles and rewarding expeditions in a dangerous world.
In this game inspired by legendary stories about piracy, players will experience the authentic pirate life. From accepting contracts, collecting resources, navigating important trade routes to attacking wealthy merchant ships, every decision will affect their journey with varying levels of risk and reward. As their notoriety grows, players will be able to craft and customize their own naval fleet and unlock a variety of new items throughout the game.
The game is inspired by the end of the 17th century, one of the deadliest periods in history. Considered to be the second golden age of piracy, this period saw a chaotic and brutal age of pirates, warring factions, powerful organizations and empires vying for power in the untamed paradise of the Indian Ocean.
Every journey in the Skull and Bones universe will be unique. Players can expand their empire by joining forces with up to 2 friends or players they encounter at sea. For added difficulty, you can activate PVP and increase your powers; they can test it against promising bosses, powerful organizations, local factions and even rival pirates.
