The release date of the Assassin’s Creed game, codenamed Red, which will be set in Japan, has been leaked by an insider of the company. According to a new report, rumors that Ubisoft is planning to release AC Red in 2024 are true.
According to well-known gaming journalist Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming, AC Red is currently planned for the holiday season of 2024. This could mean any time between November and December 2024. However, given that Ubisoft is no stranger to development delays, we’d say don’t get your hopes up just yet. The good news is that Henderson has heard that the game is playable.
In development at Ubisoft Quebec, AC Red will fulfill a long-time fan request to bring the series to Feudal Japan. However, it is obvious that it is a little late for this.
Because Sony met this demand of the players with Ghost of Tsushima, which became known as ‘Assassin’s Creed Japan’. But loyal fans of the series are still excited for a Feudal Japan Assassin’s Creed game from Ubisoft.
AC Red is thought to feature two playable heroes: a male Samurai and a female Shinobi. Following reports that Samurai was an African refugee, players theorized that the character was based on Yasuke, a real-life African warrior who traveled to Japan and became a samurai during the Sengoku period.
