iPad Pro with OLED screen will be introduced in 2024
The source states that Apple will increase the screen sizes. So much so that some sources previously stated that it will launch iPad Pro models with 11.1-inch and 13-inch OLED screens in the first quarter of 2024. The detailed report by Korea’s ET News confirms this upgrade.
The report states that Apple has ordered OLED panels for the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro, as well as the 11.1-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models with OLED displays. The source is certain that the first iPad with an OLED display will hit the market in 2024. Here are the statements in the report;
Apple has prepared an order for panel types that will be 10.86-inch and 12.9-inch for the iPad and 14-inch and 16-inch for the MacBook. With the start of the official project, the relevant parts and material companies started to develop the boards. Various panel developments are underway, from 10 inches to 16 inches, according to a prominent insider source.
Apple introduced the iPad Pro model with the M2 processor in October last year. Built on ARMv8 architecture and produced with 5nm technology, the processor is home to an 8-core CPU that offers up to 15 percent faster performance and a 10-core GPU that offers up to 35 percent faster graphics performance. The device, equipped with a 12.9-inch Liquid Retina XDR display, includes advanced display technologies such as iPad Pro, P3 wide color gamut, True Tone and ProMotion.
