The Punisher Series Returns

While many fans have been requesting the return of the series, which has been canceled by Netflix for a long time, the expected statement came today.

Actress Rosario Dawson, who plays the character of Claire Temple, who has also been in productions such as Iron Fist and Daredevil, announced that The Punisher will return. Speaking at the event held in Chicago, Dawson announced that the character will come within the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Moreover, it has been announced that the name to portray the Punisher will be Jon Bernthal again.

There is no word yet on when The Punisher will return. The series, which started to be broadcast in 2017, received a lot of acclaim, especially when a character like Punisher was shown ‘as it should be’. However, hearing the return of the series from Dawson’s mouth was also a sign that the character of Claire Temple will take place in The Punisher. Although Temple did not appear in the Punisher series, the bond between the two characters was established in the Daredevil series, where Punisher was also seen for the first time.

It is possible that The Punisher will be broadcast on Disney Plus, not on Netflix screens this time. Because the previous reason for the cancellation of the series was that Disney bought the broadcast rights from Netflix.
