READING NOW The processor of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 has been leaked!

According to Canalys, the world’s largest smartphone manufacturer with a market share of 24 percent, Samsung continues its work on foldable phones. The company is preparing to showcase the Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 models soon. The processors of the devices, whose battery capacities were revealed before, are now leaked.

Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 will be powered by which processor?

Ice Universe, known for its leaks in the industry, shared the processor of Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4, which are expected to be introduced in the coming months. According to the leak, the foldable phones will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus chipset.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus may come with TSMC’s 4nm chip if we look at previous claims. On the other hand, it will be 10 percent faster and more efficient than its predecessor. This means that foldable phones will not upset users in terms of performance.

Let’s also mention that there is an important detail here. Because the processor’s release date, which was determined as the end of May in the first place, was postponed to the second half of the year after many factories were closed due to the increase in Covid-19 cases in China. It is not yet clear whether this will affect the release dates of foldable phones.

Both devices are likely to be similar to their predecessors in terms of battery. According to the latest information, Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be powered by 4,400 mAh and Flip 4 batteries with a capacity of 3,303 mAh. However, the efficiency of the processors they will be powered by will also be the determining factor in battery life.

So what do you think about this issue? Do you think foldable phones will be able to win the appreciation of users? Do not forget to share your views with us in the comments section or on the SDN Forum.
