CEO Carl Pei has confirmed that the Nothing Phone (2) will feature the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor manufactured by Qualcomm. The Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor has Cortex-X2 at 3.19 GHz, three Cortex-A710 running at 2.75 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores running at 1.80 GHz. Produced with 4nm technology, the graphics interface of the processor is Adreno 730.
Making a statement on the subject, Pei said that the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 was chosen because it is “best in class when it comes to power consumption and heat management.” Making a statement about the camera features of the device, Pei said, “Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 has an 18-bit Image Signal Processor (ISP) that can capture 4,000 times more camera data than the ISP (1) used in the first model of the Nothing Phone series.
