Communities coming for iOS WhatsApp Business version
According to the news of WABetaInfo, WhatsApp is working to bring the Communities feature to the iOS version. Meta started testing this feature for the Android version a long time ago, before for WhatsApp Business. But he was holding on for the iOS version without giving any reason.
WhatsApp Business for iOS beta is testing in version 23.5.0.75. Communities will be in Settings, as in the image above. With this feature, businesses will use this feature when they do not want to communicate with their customers one-on-one. In addition, it will be able to manage announcements from the Communities section, as businesses will make for business.
Businesses using WhatsApp Business will also have access to previously joined lists, including Community announcement groups. Additionally, they will be able to create new Communities for their businesses.
WhatsApp classic version is working on Confirm New Participants feature. With this feature, when a new member comes to the WhatsApp group, administrators will approve them. The new member will only join the group if approved by the admin. This new feature can be turned on or off according to preference.
