We continue to hear new information about the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series. As you know, recent reports have shown us that the Galaxy S24 and S24 Plus models will be powered by the Exynos 2400 chipset. In this context, we can say that all eyes are on the processor that will rival Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. Today, the first performance results of Exynos 2400 were shared.

The first performance results of Exynos 2400 were shared

For those who don’t know, Samsung shelved Exynos processors specifically for the Samsung Galaxy S23 series, which was introduced earlier this year. However, it is said that the Exynos platform, which has been away from the global market for a year, will return very soon. As we mentioned above, Exynos 2400 will be used in the Galaxy S24 and 24 Plus models (in certain markets), and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 will be used in the S24 Ultra. Therefore, we can say that there are many expectations from Samsung’s new chipset in terms of performance, and today’s results shed light on this.

behind your rival

As you can see in the test image above, the Galaxy S24 performs with 1,656 points with the Exynos 2400 processor. On the other hand, we see that the Galaxy S23 model, currently powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, reached 1,746 points. Although the difference is small, it is worth noting that the rival of the S24 series is not the S23 and it will definitely be more powerful than it. Therefore, early results raise the question of whether the processor can compete with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.

On the other hand, neither Exynos 2400 nor Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 has been officially released. Therefore, we have to wait a while longer to see the competition of new processors.
