However, researchers are able to track Bitcoin and altcoin units by following centralized exchange platforms.
According to data from crypto researcher Arkham Intelligence, US brokerage firm Robinhood owns large amounts of Bitcoin. On-chain data has revealed that the stock and crypto trading platform holds $3 billion worth of BTC. This makes Robinhood the third largest holder of Bitcoin in a single wallet.
The actual owner of the astronomical amount of BTC in the Robinhood wallet is not clear. The stock market has not made a statement on this issue until today.
According to on-chain measurements, Robinhood wallet has 118,300 Bitcoins. The trading company Jump Trading provides the security and custody services of these tokens.
