WhatsApp users’ long awaited “delete for everyone” feature is finally being developed. Well what does it mean?
As it is known, messages sent by mistake while messaging via WhatsApp could be deleted for a short time “for everyone”. In other words, the message you deleted can be deleted not only from your chat history, but also from the chat screen of the other party, but this was very limited in time.
Although the “delete sent messages” feature in previous versions of WhatsApp worked for up to 7 minutes at first, this period was extended with the subsequent update and a message could be deleted from anyone up to 1 hour and 8 minutes after it was sent. The new update, on the other hand, takes this time further and even messages sent exactly 3 months ago can be deleted by anyone.
However, this feature is not available to everyone at the moment. Updates are currently underway and this feature will be accessible to every WhatsApp user after the release of version 2. 21. 23.1.
