In recent years, Call of Duty has focused on the online experience rather than the single-player story mode. So the most striking point about these games is the multiplayer part. We have already seen several times in the last games of the series that the single player part is weak and short. Cold War, which debuted last year, is one of the best examples of this.
A leaked image leaks map images from the Call of Duty game, which is expected to be released in 2024, and the recently announced Modern Warfare 2. Although there is not much information about the maps, we can get an idea of what they will look like thanks to the screenshots.
New images show online Call of Duty maps
The images shared by the user named ‘orange man’ on Twitter belong to Modern Warfare 2 and the unnamed CoD game that will be released in 2024. In total, we see that three maps have been leaked, two of which belong to the 2024 game, and one belongs to Modern Warfare 2, which we will meet soon. Since these images are the backgrounds in the ‘loading’ phase of the maps, it was not possible to access the images of every map. The sharing user adds that when more loading screens are designed for maps, they will also share them.
We will see Grandprime, which looks like it will take place on a racetrack, in Modern Warfare. The following maps are from the 2024 game:
The new Modern Warfare 2, which will be released on October 28, will also feature the online mode with a familiar story. In fact, the online mode of the original game was also quite fun, but as time passed, it did not manage to match today’s standards. We expect the new game we will see to solve the conflicts on this issue and offer us an enjoyable experience again.
Although the system requirements of the game have not been officially announced, we can say that the following features will be required based on the rumors:
- Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit
- Processor: Intel Core i5 8400 or AMD Ryzen 3 3300X
- Graphics: Nvidia GeForce 1060 3GB or AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB
- Memory: 12GB RAM
- Storage: 175GB
- DirectX 12 Compatible Graphics Card
