The game world and Roblox have been awash with a long-running tribunal. The decision was made in the lawsuit filed by the producer of the game against a YouTuber named Ruben Simon and demanding compensation of 1.6 million dollars along with homophobia, racism, harassment, threats and many similar accusations. Defendant Benjamin Robert Simon was ordered to pay a total of $150,000 in damages to plaintiff The Roblox Corporation.

The YouTuber who stirred up the world of Roblox: Ruben Sim

Roblox Corporation filed a lawsuit last November accusing YouTuber, abbreviated Sim (Ruben Sim), of leading a cyber gang terrorizing the platform. Demanding a compensation of $ 1.6 million in total at the beginning of the case, Roblox reached a mutual agreement with the YouTuber and was convinced of the compensation of $ 150 thousand. The Sim’s pedigree on the Roblox platform is even more fluffy than you can imagine…

Since Roblox is completely free to play, when your account is banned, it is very easy to open a new account and start the game again. On the other hand, Roblox Corporation can permanently ban users’ IP addresses from servers in rare cases.

YouTuber named Sim, who was banned from Roblox for harassing other users and using racist and homophobic rhetoric, resented this decision and decided to take his behavior to the next level.

According to the claim of Roblox lawyers, YouTuber continued to send sexual harassment messages to users with different accounts, upload a photo of Adolf Hitler and similar disturbing images to his profile picture, and share all these on the YouTube platform after this ban. So much so that the Sim took his extravagant behavior to the point of threatening the Roblox Developer Conference with a terrorist attack.

Taking into account all these behaviors, the court, which made its final decision, ruled that in addition to the monetary compensation of 150 thousand dollars, the Sim should remove all the videos he had previously uploaded about Roblox and never produce content on the production again.
