With Double Agent released in 2006 and Conviction released in 2010, Ubisoft, which was criticized for overdoing the action dose of Splinter Cell, which is essentially a stealth game, revived the popular gameplay of the series in 2013 with Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot, who first said that the series was not forgotten in 2017, later confirmed that the game was under development in 2019. For the last 2 years, we did not know anything but small bits of information about the game, but finally we received information that officially confirmed that the game was developed.
According to the latest news, Ubisoft has registered several trademarks for a new Splinter Cell through Justia Trademarks. TV series, movies, media presentations, etc. to be made after the new game. The company, which has passed many patents in its name, will announce the new game very soon. Considering that the registration process was carried out on December 6, Ubisoft is expected to officially introduce the game in the first quarter of 2022 at the latest.
