What does the ARM Cortex-X4 offer?
As it is known, ARM Cortex-X cores come into play for the processes that require the highest performance within the general chip structure. Cortex-A series cores are used for other performance operations.
While the ARM Cortex-X4 core is 15 percent more efficient at the same energy consumption, it is 40 percent more efficient at the same performance value. ARM Cortex-X4, which is expected to reach 3.4GHz, will offer a balanced performance increase.
ARM Cortex-X4, the most powerful and most efficient Cortex-X core ever developed, features Level 2 cache up to 2MB per core. Based on the latest ARMv9.2 architecture, the kernel will find its way into many new flagships. The kernel, which does not offer 32-bit support, will appear in the first products towards the end of the year.
