The new game of the cult horror game series Silent Hill F was banned in a country before it was released

Silent Hill, one of the legendary series of horror games, has faced an unexpected ban with its new game Silent Hill F without being released.

The Australian Classification Board (ACB) banned the broadcasting of the game in the country. Although the relationship of this decision is not clearly stated, it is thought to be related to the content of the game.

The first country to prohibit the Australian game may not be the last

Silent Hill F also received the first 18+ ratings of the series in Japan. Likewise, the manufacturer of the game Konami also warns the players on the Steam page:

“This game includes gender discrimination, child abuse, bullying, hallucinations, punishment and heavy violence scenes.”

The play in the 1960s Japan contains elements based on the culture and traditions of the period. Although Australia does not explain why it forbids the game, it is certain that the game cannot be launched in the country even in uncensored state.
