BMW continues on its way with new 3 Series updates. The vehicle, which has gained new headlights with the renovation work, has gained new color and rim options. In the updated model, the biggest change in terms of design is at the front. The new model hosts headlights reminiscent of the i3 model introduced by the brand for the Chinese market. We also say goodbye to the recesses on the lower part of the headlights, which have gained a thinner structure. ‘Angel’ LED headlights, which integrate with the brand, leave their place to boomerang-shaped derivatives.
It is gratifying that the 3 Series is resisting BMW’s new giant grille philosophy. Continuing on its way with more traditional kidney grilles, this section also hosts various changes. The front and rear bumpers also offer a sportier appearance with the renewal. The aggressive look is also supported by the black overlays that will now come as standard. Shiny aluminum details are on the option list.
Other changes in the exterior of the model include new color and wheel options. While the new color called Skyscraper Gray is added to the options with the update, Brooklyn Gray can be preferred with the M Sport package.
The new BMW 3 Series features significant changes in the interior. The 3 Series, which has a curved screen with the update, has a 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 14.9-inch infotainment system screen. Keeping up with BMW’s new models with this screen, the vehicle will also have the brand’s newest iDrive system. It is stated that BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant can now detect many voice commands.
We see that the engine options of the 2022 BMW 3 Series remain unchanged. All models are offered with an 8-speed automatic transmission, while the xDrive all-wheel drive system is among the options. It seems that the BMW 3 Series continues to evolve and maintains its successful design.
