According to information obtained by Apple analyst Ross Young from sources, the device will be sold under the name ‘iPhone SE Plus’. Until now, it was called the iPhone SE 3.
iPhone SE Plus will come with 5G support
According to Ross Young, the biggest feature of the new iPhone SE is 5G support. Apart from that, Apple will not make any major changes to the phone. Therefore, it will prefer the name Plus. Just like the iPhone 8, the iPhone SE Plus, which is said to come with a 4.7-inch screen, will continue to offer Touch ID. It will also be powered by the A15 Bionic processor, which is also used in the iPhone 13, according to leaks.
One of Apple analysts Nikkei Asia said that the 2022 model iPhone SE will have 5G support powered by Qualcomm X60 modem. On the other hand, in the report he shared, Ming-Chi Kuo stated that the device will have a design similar to the iPhone 8. Claiming that it will also be the cheapest iPhone, Kuo did not share any price information.
iPhone SE 3 is on the way
Analyst Ross Young claimed that Apple will launch the iPhone SE 3 in 2024. He also stated that the phone will come out with a screen between 5.5 and 6.1 inches. In the information shared so far, it was spoken that the new iPhone SE with a 4.7-inch screen would be introduced with the name ‘iPhone SE 3’. Young’s claims, on the other hand, revealed the opposite.
