Simon “Ghost” Riley, whose name we heard with the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare series, is one of the most mysterious characters of the game. So much so that a modeled face of the character, who hides his face with the mask he wears, was leaked to social media.
Ghost’s face under mask revealed
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II attracted great attention from the players with its renewed graphics and story. So much so that all the characters in the scenario of the game were remodeled. Upon this, a Reddit user examining the source files of the game revealed the face of Ghost, one of the most mysterious characters of the series, under the mask.
Looking at the COD:Modern Warfare II source files, it was revealed that the Ghost character’s face under the mask was actually modeled, but not shown in the game. However, the intriguing mystery of the Modern Warfare series has also been solved.
It is possible to say that the developer company Activision has slowly unearthed Ghost’s face. So much so that the remastered COD: MW II’s famous team, Task Force 141, is gearing up for a mission and Ghost is unmasking it. However, it should be noted that the character’s face is not seen.
It is not yet certain whether the modeling in the game’s source file really belongs to Ghost. Considering that it is real, the probability of it being added to the game is quite high.
