Bristol Street Motors announced that it is doing research to resolve the question on the minds of many movie lovers. Examining the “Top 50 Horror Movies” list, the team identified the vehicle brands and models most used in horror movies.
Bristol Street Motors, which created the list based on the list of Empire Online, checked about 700 vehicles. Bristol Street Motors, sharing the “creeiest” vehicle with its readers based on their appearance in horror movies, announced that Ford F series pickup trucks appeared 13 times in 50 movies.
Underlining that Ford pickup trucks are generally used in low and medium budget horror movies, the team stated that the Ford pickup truck is also featured in the Stephen King’s movie Maximum Overdrive.
Ford Crown Victoria, Cadillac Fleetwood, Chevrolet C/K, Ford Custom, Ford LTD Country Squire, Volkswagen Beetle, Ford Escort, Ford Mustang and Ford Transit are among the top 10 vehicles most frequently seen in horror movies, respectively.
It is noteworthy that the vehicles featured in horror movies are predominantly Ford brands. Ford sells the Ranger model in our country instead of the F-series pickup trucks.
Bristol announced that Ford vehicles appeared 113 times in 50 movies, and this event made Ford an indispensable brand of horror movies. Taking second place, Chevrolet managed to appear in horror movies 64 times.
Volkswagen, Dodge, Fiat, Pontiac, Toyota, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz and Honda, which are the most preferred vehicles in horror movies, complete the top 10, respectively.
