READING NOW The Most Difficult Regions to Visit in the World: Even If You Can Go to These Vast Places, You May Never Return Again!

Even though we think we have control over many parts of the world, there are actually vast places that most people do not even know the name of and cannot find their location on maps. These places, which are quite challenging in terms of transportation, have been visited by very few people before.

So, do we not visit these vast lands because we really don’t want to go or because we can’t?

First of all, let’s say this; Getting to these places is not as easy as you think. For example, you have to travel for days to go to Patriot Hills.

The temperature of Patriot Hills in Antarctica varies between -12 and -17 degrees depending on altitude. This place, which is among the most difficult places to visit in the world, requires exactly 3 trips! Naturally, there is no airport or runway in this place. Planes are forced to land on ice.

Of course, going here is not as impossible as you think; A considerable number of people have been able to go before. When you land in this place, which is not recommended for those with lung and heart diseases, you are greeted by the unique beauty of nature.

Well, let’s say you wanted to go here; Let’s calculate how many hours it will take:

  • First, you need to fly to New Zealand or Chile via Istanbul. At best, this flight will take an average of 31 hours.
  • There are flights to Antarctica via these countries only in March and October. Let’s say you went in March, this journey can take between 6 and 8 hours on average.
  • However, this was only the time to go to Antarctica, after which you need a helicopter to climb this hill. This may affect your transportation time depending on weather conditions.

We think it makes perfect sense for those who want to visit Patriot Hills for scientific research!

An island quite far from civilization, where an average of 50 people live: Pitcairn Island

Located in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, this island is part of the United Kingdom. The island, which was first discovered by whalers in history, has now become an island inhabited by locals far from civilization. This island, which is visited by 1000 people every year from a touristic point of view, can only be accessed by boat. Let’s calculate how many hours it will take in total if you want to visit this island via Istanbul:

First, you need to go to England, so when we look at the non-stop flight between Istanbul and London, we can say that it takes an average of 4 hours.

Next, you need to fly from London to Tahiti. Unfortunately, this flight does not have any non-stop flights, so you may have to travel between 24 hours and 39 hours.

If you think it ends here, you are wrong, because you will need to travel from Tahiti to Mangareva by plane. Since the Tahiti – Mangareva flight operates only once a week, you need to book it on that exact day. This journey takes an average of 5 hours and 30 minutes.

As you can imagine, you can only travel from Mangareva to Pitcairn Island by boat. The distance between this journey is 530 km, which corresponds to an average journey of 32 hours. What we mean is; You’d better visit there while you’re in London, there’s no need to go to all this trouble!

Hosting an active volcano with its unique beauty: Mount Bisoke

Mount Bisoke is located in Rwanda, East Africa. This mountain, which has one of the most striking active volcanoes in the world, is also famous for its crater lake, but it is quite difficult to reach here. It is a very difficult process due to both the terrain conditions and the wild animals running around. Since access to this mountain is only possible through tours, it is impossible for us to spend an hour on average.

First of all, when we look at the flight ticket from Istanbul to Rwanda, we can say that it will take 7 hours at best. Then, to go to this mountain, you need to join a tour, the cost of which is 75 dollars.

According to the Guinness Book of Records, Annapurna has the title of “The Deadliest Mountain in the World”.

This mountain is located in Kathmandu, Nepal. Although many people consider the deadliest mountain in the world to be Mount Everest, Annapurna actually holds this title. Annapurna, the 10th highest mountain in the world, has a height of exactly 8091 meters.

Unfortunately, 1 in 4 people who managed to climb lost their lives on the way down. The avalanche danger that may occur while climbing, steep terrain conditions and decreasing temperatures as you climb to higher altitudes will put a lot of pressure on those climbing. This mountain, which only 191 people can climb, is not only deadly, but also a very difficult place to go.

When we look at the flight tickets between Istanbul and Nepal, we can say that the direct flight takes 7 hours and the connecting flight takes an average of 26 to 28 hours. However, this was the easiest part of the job, then you have to climb to the top to reach this mountain, and we cannot calculate the duration of this since we have never tried it.

There is no one in history who has been able to reach the top of this mountain: Gangkhar Puensum

This mountain in Bhutan has an altitude of 7570 meters. There is no one in the past or present who has been able to reach its summit and probably will not be able to do so because it is forbidden to climb this mountain. Even if you want, you cannot go to this mountain, which is known to be banned by the local government for religious reasons. We have no doubt that even if permission was given to climb this mountain, the result would be just like Mount Annapurna. This mountain, which has very steep slopes, could have caused many injuries or deaths.

We don’t know what advancing technology will bring, but it seems possible to go to places that cannot be visited in the near future. We leave it to you to say that until then, it is highly likely that these unique places will remain the most untouched lands in the world. Don’t forget to share your thoughts about these places with us.
