Co-author of the study, Dr. Dr. Dr. Plans said, “The studies conducted within the scope of the study showed that early or late bedtime can disrupt the body clock and have negative consequences for heart-based and cardiovascular health.” The researchers underlined that getting enough sleep is very important for our general health, as well as for our cardiovascular and circulatory health, and that adults should get seven to nine hours of sleep a night.

However, it should be remembered that this study can only show the relationship between sleep and health, and it is not possible to show cause and effect. Sleep isn’t the only factor that will affect heart health. Eating a balanced diet, maintaining a healthy weight, exercising regularly are among the main factors affecting heart health and are a whole.
