While some of these sanctions were the subject of discussion with the prediction that they would reach the level of racism, a person who made a big blow to Russia(!) became the subject of the headlines. In the UK, 59-year-old Mike Ockelford took down bottles of vodka from the shelves when he went to his local supermarket.
He took the Russian vodkas off the shelves, creating an event:

The police, who came to the scene with a report of abusing a staff member, were handcuffed and placed in the police vehicle for a few minutes after he refused to give his address and his own information, according to Ockelford. As a result of the incident, no charges were brought against Ockelford.
