The Milky Way Galaxy, which we are in, contains many magnificent stars. One of them, RS Poppis star, which is one of the variable stars, will now be a star that we can experience not only visually but also as a sound.
The audio file, prepared by SYSTEM Sounds as a science-art outreach project, was created by converting the image of the star obtained by the Hubble Space Telescope into sound.
The voice of the RS Puppis star that will take you on a completely different journey:
Voicing the stars is an effective way to experience the cosmos
Viewing places where it is impossible for us to be physically present with our current technology, is among the greatest breakthroughs that humanity has achieved. In addition, transforming visual data into auditory data enables people with limited vision or blindness to experience the universe.
In addition, it can reveal weak signals and information that may be lost in the noise in the image through sound, revealing details that may be overlooked.
RS Puppis was voiced for outreach.
RS Puppis is among the best observable variable stars found in the Milky Way Galaxy. In this respect, a lot of work has already taken place on this star. The prepared audio file was published by NASA Goddard to present a very new perspective in terms of science.
