Bitcoin became the most watched coin
As 2022 comes to an end, crypto market and price aggregation websites such as coinmarketcap.com (CMC) and coinecko.com (CG) are offering watchlists so visitors can review their favorite cryptocurrencies or perhaps the coins they hold in their portfolios. Basically, a watchlist is a specific set of crypto assets that a person chooses to watch, and it displays all other crypto assets that the person doesn’t care about.
In traditional finance, investors also have watch lists for stocks and commodities. So they can track the market value of an asset. Looking at the top ten crypto assets, each coin has data on how many users have chosen a particular coin to add to their watchlist. On CG and CMC, Bitcoin (BTC) is the top coin in terms of watch lists.
