Capcom’s legendary horror-adventure series Resident Evil managed to leave its mark this year with its new remake. Resident Evil 4 Remake, released in March, received full points from the players with both its graphics and renewed gameplay quality. Now, new information about the Resident Evil 9 release date has leaked.
Resident Evil 9 release date could be 2025
Capcom has started work on Resident Evil 9, which is planned to be the next game in the iconic horror series. Expanding the popularity of the series with Resident Evil 7 and 8, the company wants to continue this success with RE9. Accordingly, the new production will debut in 2025.
Dusk Gollem, one of the well-known names in the game world, reported that 2025 could be the potential release date for Resident Evil 9 and the launch could be made in 2024. As Capcom held their previous launches in the summer, we expect RE9 to be unveiled like this June.
One of the most exciting aspects of Resident Evil 9 will be the opportunity to play beloved characters like Chris Redfield or Leon Kennedy. Both of these characters have appeared in various episodes of the series. However, it has been confirmed that Ethan Winters, who starred in Village and Biohazard, will not be in this game.
It is also said that Capcom may enter a new story with a new cast of characters. Still, the details of RE9 are currently unknown.
Resident Evil 7: Biohazard marked a significant shift, with a first-person perspective and featuring new characters beyond the classic zombies. This success continued with Resident Evil 8: Village, which introduced players to a world inhabited by vampires, werewolves and other supernatural creatures.
