Many claims have been made about Apple’s mixed reality glasses for a long time. Important information was shared about the Apple AR / VR glasses, which will be showcased at the WWDC 2023 event to be held on June 5, which later turned out to be fake.
The leak for Apple AR / VR glasses is fake
According to the information received, the operating system of the company’s mixed reality glasses will be xrOS, while the processor of the device will be called X1. According to the latest allegations, the Geekbench scores of the Apple X1 processor have been leaked.
Apple’s mixed reality glasses were spotted on a June 1 Geekbench listing called “Reality”. According to the shared list, Apple AR / VR glasses with 141,585 points will host a 12-core processor. It is stated that this processor has 8 performance cores as well as 4 efficiency cores. It is also stated that the processor has a speed of 3.68 GHz.
After the performance test result, Geekbench marked the list as wrong. So it turned out that all of this information was wrong. After the short-term excitement, it seems that we will have to wait for the WWDC 2023 event to see the mixed reality glasses in full.
On the other hand, Apple has filed a trademark application for “xrProOS”. Immersive Health Solutions, which is presumed to be Apple’s front company, has also applied for “realOS”, “Reality One”, “Reality Pro” and “Reality Processor” in other countries, in addition to the “realityproOS” trademark.
Apple’s AR / VR glasses are expected to be available to customers with a price tag of about $ 3 thousand. At the event to be held on June 5, we will have the opportunity to see Apple’s new operating system and devices, especially iOS 17. Invitations have already been sent to many famous people for this event.
