Although He-Man is an unforgettable cartoon of the 80s, even those who have never watched the cartoon have used or heard the lines “By the power of shadows” and “I have the power now”. This line that He-Man said when he pulled out his sword while fighting against his enemies was etched in our minds for a long time. He-Man producers continue to make their fans happy today, where even the first cartoon and its first lines are still not forgotten.
He-Man, the first cartoon of which has 130 episodes and was broadcast between 1983-1985, has also started to broadcast a new animated series on Netflix in recent months. To watch the trailer of the animated series and get more information, you can check out our news here.
Kyle Allen to star as an orphan named ‘Adam’
Lastly, Kyle Allen, whom we watched as the character named ‘Balkan’ in West Side Story, was chosen as the lead actor for the movie He-Man. In the movie, which will be adapted from the 1983 animated series He-Man: Masters of the Universe, Allen will play an orphan named Adam. Discovering that he is an aspiring prince, Adam will be destined to become the savior of a distant land.
The project, which was previously featured in Sony Pictures, was officially announced by Netflix after months of development. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch will produce, along with DeVon Franklin, on the project, whose screenplay is written by the Nee Brothers and Dave Callaham. “This movie has been in the making for us and our partners for 14 years, and we are excited to tell an entirely new story and share it with a global audience,” Black said.
No statement was made about when the new He-Man movie, which will be released by Netflix, will meet with the audience. We hope this movie will be much better quality than the Netflix sequel to He-Man: Masters of the Universe.
