Redmi, which was made an independent brand by Xiaomi in 2019, has greatly increased its activity in the smartphone industry. The company, which has recently rolled up its sleeves to add a new model to the Note 11 series, on the other hand, continues to work on the K50 series, which has been on the agenda for a long time with various claims. In fact, the release date of the series was announced a short time ago.
Redmi K50 series will be showcased in February
Redmi is one of the companies that prefer to keep the launch date fixed in their products. For example, if a product was introduced in January, its successor product is launched in the same month of the next year.
With this understanding, the K50 models, which are the successors of the Redmi K40 series, which were introduced in February 2021, were also expected to be presented to users next month. This was recently confirmed by the poster shared on the company’s official Weibo account.
The release date and some of the technical features of the K50, the standard model of the series, were included in the post. Accordingly, the smartphone will be presented to users at the event to be held next month. Other models of the series are expected to be showcased at the same event.
Redmi K50 will incorporate a double VC liquid-cooled heat dissipation unit, which will greatly prevent overheating under heavy load. Apart from that, thanks to its 120W fast charging support, it will be able to fill the entire 4,700 mAh battery in just 17 minutes.
Although it is not clear for now, it is claimed that all models in the series, which will include Redmi K50, K50 Gaming Edition, K50 Pro and K50 Pro +, will be powered by different processors. Regarding which processors to use, Qualcomm Snapdragon 870, Snapdragon 8 Gen1, MediaTek Dimensity 7000 and Dimensity 9000 come to the fore, respectively.
