New details continue to emerge about the V29 Pro model, which Vivo is preparing to introduce to users very soon. The launch date of the smartphone, which is expected to be a rebranded version of the Vivo S17 Pro introduced in June, was recently announced.
When will Vivo V29 Pro be introduced?
Vivo announced that the V29 Pro will be showcased on October 4 with the promotional poster it recently shared. While the poster does not include any technical specifications of the smartphone, past leaks say that the product will be a rebranded version of the Vivo S17 Pro.
As you may remember, Vivo S17 Pro has an AMOLED panel that offers 6.78 inches 120 Hz refresh rate, 2800 x 1260 resolution and 452 PPI pixel density. The smartphone, which comes with a perforated screen design, is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 processor produced with a 4 nm fabrication process.
The model has 8/12 GB RAM and 256/512 GB internal storage options. In addition, the fingerprint reader, which is determined as a security method, is positioned under the screen.
While there is a 50 Megapixel selfie camera on the front, there is a triple camera setup on the back consisting of 50 Megapixel Sony IMX766V main with OIS, 8 Megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra wide and 12 Megapixel Sony IMX663 telephoto sensors.
On the battery side, there is a 4,600 mAh battery that can charge at 80W speeds. Apart from this, features such as dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC and USB 2.0 (Type-C) are also offered to users.
