Continuing to be the main communication platform of the business world, Slack came up with big announcements today. The platform, which took the stage at the Salesforce World Tour event, managed to catch the eye with its new features that it will soon reach.
New features coming to Slack focus on artificial intelligence. The biggest of these features will be Slack GPT. The language model that created ChatGPT will now work in integration with Slack, improving communication.
Meet Slack GPT:
Slack GPT will provide convenience to companies and employees who are Slack users in many areas. Communication with customers through Slack will be much faster, summaries will be reached thanks to artificial intelligence after the meetings, and even writing suggestions will be obtained from artificial intelligence.
Likewise, sales teams will be able to offer product recommendations for their customers with artificial intelligence, create blog posts and images, design e-mail campaigns and have much more opportunities.
Moreover, Canvas, which came to Slack in the past months, will be able to host the blessings of artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence will also be supported in transactions on Slack Canvas.
In addition to all these, some jobs can be automated with previously prepared inputs. For example, to write an e-mail, first reading the brief, then writing this e-mail sample and finally adding it to Canvas can be done with a single click.
Slack won’t be limited to just GPT
Slack will not be limited to GPT in artificial intelligence. Developers will be able to integrate different language models they want to the platform. An alternative that can be preferred will be the artificial intelligence of Claude, which Anthropic has just released.
Another artificial intelligence, Einstein GPT application, Salesforce Customer 360 will present the data and customer feedback from the Data Cloud through an artificial intelligence filter.
When will these features come?
- Claude, the artificial intelligence assistant developed by Anthropic, has already been released for Slack.
- ChatGPT app for Slack is currently in white version and it is not certain when it will be released.
- Workflow app (Workflow Builder) with Slack GPT will be released this summer.
- The built-in capabilities of Slack GPT and Einstein GPT are still in development.
