Apple introduced iOS 17 for the first time at WWDC 2023. Although Apple Music is not included in the presentation, the company will add a few new features to the music streaming application.

SharePlay in the Car: With iOS 17, Apple Music users will be able to use SharePlay to control the music playing in their cars via CarPlay, and everyone can contribute their favorite songs to the in-car playlist.
Collaboration for playlists: Later this year, Apple Music on iOS 17 will allow users to invite friends to a playlist so they can add, reorder, and remove songs. It will also be possible to use emojis to react to song selections on “Now Playing”.

Tap for AirPlay recommendation: When opening your Music app in iOS 17, your app recognizes HomePods and smart speakers around you and suggests the ones you use the most. It also varies between rooms.
Journal app: Also, later this year, Apple will introduce a Journal app. This app will create personalized moment suggestions for you to remember and write about based on various iPhone features, including songs you listen to on Apple Music.
Apple Music Sing update: You can use your iPhone with Apple TV to sing along to your favorite songs using Apple Music Sing. You can see yourself on TV alongside live lyrics.
