What does Protoclone V1 offer?
Protoclone V1, a humanoid robot, has more than 200 degrees of freedom, 1,000 myophibeters and 500 sensors. The company claims that the Protclone V1 is the world’s first two-legged, musculoskeletal system android. Clone’s Myofiber Technology uses artificial muscles to move the skeleton by connecting it to sensitive bone points like humans.
In December, Clone entered the competitive humanoid robotic market with the introduction of Clone Alpha, the first full -scale humanoid robot. Previously, the company had introduced a humanoid body that could make human -like movements.
In a 40 -second video released by the company, the Protoclone is shown in a workshop, a black, reflective masquerade. Unlike other humanoid robots, Protoclone has synthetic systems that mimic human skeleton, muscle, vascular and nerve structures. The company says that the prototype currently uses pneumatic systems, but will move to hydraulic systems as the development progresses.
Founded in 2021, Clone Robotics, which works in the field of biomimetic robotics, aims to develop robots that mimic the power and agility of biological living things. The company started to work by developing a robotic hand that mimic the functionality of human hand using artificial muscles and bones. The team then created a humanoid body with realistic shoulder joints, neck vertebrae and a moving elbow.
Robotics, rather than taking the robotic structure based on the robotic structure, first adopted a different approach by imitating human anatomy and then giving natural mobility with artificial muscles. As a result, a surprisingly similar and frightening realistic design came out.
Human anatomy is imitated with innovative Myofiber Technology
Clone Robotics has developed its humanoid design to achieve natural walking by replacing hard actuators with soft, water -powered artificial muscles. With Myofiber artificial muscle technology, the company, which formed a monolithic system by connecting musculoskeeper units to the right points anatomically, successfully mimically mimic the mammal skeletal muscles by eliminating tendon failures.
The company states that this technology provides at least 1 kilogram of contraction power per 3 grams of muscle fiber of more than 30 %and 3 grams of muscle fiber under 50 milliseconds. He also says that Myofiber is unique in terms of power, speed and efficiency.
Clone Alpha’s skeleton closely reflects human anatomy with 206 light -fused bones, completely moving joints and artificial bonds. Sensitive bond and tendon placement provides a degree of freedom on the upper body, 20 on the shoulder, 6 per vertebrae on the spine and 26 along the wrist and elbow.
Android’s nervous system uses proprioweeptive and visual feedback systems to control the muscles in real time. 4 depth camera, 70 inertia sensors and 320 pressure sensor, NVIDIA Jetson Thor GPU transmits data through microcontrollers. A 500 Watt electric pump provides realistic movement by transmisting hydraulic pressure efficiently with Aquajet valve technology and strengthens the vascular system.
