One of the biggest trends in the smartphone world in recent times has been foldable models. So much so that many phone manufacturers continue to work in this direction. Google, which has not yet stepped into the foldable smartphone world, has appeared at the end of the tunnel for its first model.
Pixel Fold will arrive in the first quarter of 2023
Google announced the Pixel 7 series on October 6th. Announcing its name in the industry with this move, the company continues to work on its silent foldable model. According to Ross Young, who is known for his leaks in the smartphone market, Pixel Fold will be released between January and March of next year.
The name of the Google foldable smartphone has not yet been clarified. Although important sources say that it will be Pixel Fold, there are important claims that it will be released as Pixel Passport. Some sources pointed to this year for the device, which has been delayed many times. However, this does not seem possible at the moment.
On the other hand, according to previously obtained information, the expected Google model will have a 7.6-inch foldable OLED screen. In addition, the cover screen is expected to be 5.8 inches. The foldable model, which is expected to support 12 GB of RAM, is expected to have Tensor G2, which appears in Pixel 7, on the processor seat.
Google will include a quad camera design on the back of its foldable model. According to the information shared by several sources before, the device has a 12.2-megapixel main camera and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle sensor. The device will come with an 8-megapixel selfie camera on both covers.
