Looking at the first teasers, you might expect the Nothing Phone (1) to have a very different design, but we can say that talk about a transparent back is exaggerated. Although there are transparent parts in the first official image of the phone, it seems that most of the components are still hidden.
Although you can see some screws and the wireless charging coil, those are limited to what can be seen. Perhaps the more interesting part could be the white stripes that seem to light up. Time will tell if this image will look good or if it will be too flashy like many gaming phones.
The Nothing Phone (1) certainly looks different enough to stand out from the crowd, but the design still feels like it missed an opportunity. Showcasing more of the incredible number of components found in a smartphone could create a really interesting design full of attention to detail.
Other details this image shows include a dual-lens camera (not so many in this day and age) and a white coating, though it’s unclear whether other colors will be offered.
Nothing Phone (1), considering that it will be released on July 12, we can say that we will learn more details very soon.
